1. Terms & Conditions

1.1 The service

CDI Members is a paid online membership that gives members access to a private community. Members can take part in ongoing conversations and discussions and attend live online meetings covering technology, artificial intelligence, current trends, business data, big data and social behaviour.

CDI Members is a fully digital service delivered online. There are no physical goods, and nothing is shipped. Access is provided through your online account.

1.2 Nature of the membership

The membership is a personal, non-transferable right of access to the community and its content for the duration of your paid subscription period. It is not a licence to redistribute, resell or republish any content, and it does not create any partnership, employment or agency relationship between you and us.

1.3 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to purchase and use CDI Members. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

1.4 Pricing, billing and automatic annual renewal

1.5 Opinions, not advice

CDI Members is a community for discussion and learning. Everything shared inside the community, in live meetings, and anywhere on this website is provided for general information and educational purposes only.

1.6 Acceptable use

1.7 Intellectual property

All content we provide, including the website, written materials, recordings, live sessions and the CDI Members brand, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access this content for your own use during your membership. All other rights are reserved.

1.8 Availability and limitation of liability

We aim to keep the service available and useful, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss you may incur. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

1.9 Changes to the service and to these terms

We may modify, add or remove features of the service, and we may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify members. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

1.10 Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute relating to these terms or to the service is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

2. Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SHOUBA DIGITAL - FZCO collects and uses your personal data when you use cdimembers.com and the CDI Members service. We are the data controller.

2.1 Data we collect

2.2 Why we use your data and our legal basis

2.3 Your rights (GDPR and equivalent laws)

If you are located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the following rights over your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@shoubadigital.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

2.4 Sharing your data

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the business, in particular Stripe for payment processing, and providers for hosting, email and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal data.

2.5 International transfers

We operate from the United Arab Emirates, and some of our service providers (including Stripe) may process data in other countries. This means your personal data may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence, including outside the EU/EEA. Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in line with applicable law, including through appropriate contractual safeguards with our providers.

2.6 Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your membership is active and afterwards only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here, to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

2.7 Contact

For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@shoubadigital.com.

3. Refund & Dispute Policy

CDI Members is a digital service delivered online. This policy explains when refunds apply and how to raise a problem with us.

3.1 30-day money-back guarantee

If the membership is not for you, you can ask us for a full refund within 30 days of your payment. You do not have to give a reason, and it does not matter whether you have already used the service.

Email contact@shoubadigital.com from the address linked to your account. We refund the full amount you paid to your original payment method and end your membership. This guarantee applies to each payment, including automatic renewals, and is offered voluntarily, in addition to any rights you have by law.

3.2 14-day withdrawal right (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.

However, because this is a digital service supplied immediately, this right does not apply once you have started using the service where you have: (a) expressly requested immediate access to the service before the 14-day period ends, and (b) acknowledged that by doing so you lose your right of withdrawal. When you sign up and access the community, you provide this request and acknowledgement. If you have not yet accessed or started using the service, you may still request a full refund within the 14-day period.

3.3 How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at contact@shoubadigital.com from the email address linked to your account, stating your name and the reason for your request. We aim to review and respond to refund requests within a reasonable time, and where a refund is due, it will be issued to your original payment method through Stripe. The time for the refund to reach you depends on Stripe and your bank.

3.4 No partial refunds after the guarantee period

Once the 30-day guarantee period described in 3.1 has passed, and except where a refund is required by applicable law, we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for a membership period that has already started and been used. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not, by itself, refund the current period (see the Cancellation Policy).

3.5 Disputes and chargebacks

If you have any problem with a payment or with the service, please contact us first at contact@shoubadigital.com before opening a dispute or chargeback with Stripe or your bank. In most cases we can resolve the issue directly and more quickly. Opening a chargeback without contacting us can delay resolution and may lead to suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated. We keep records of access and communications and may share them with Stripe or your bank to respond to a dispute.
