1. Terms & Conditions
1.1 The service
CDI Members is a paid online membership that gives members access to a private community. Members can take part in ongoing conversations and discussions and attend live online meetings covering technology, artificial intelligence, current trends, business data, big data and social behaviour.
CDI Members is a fully digital service delivered online. There are no physical goods, and nothing is shipped. Access is provided through your online account.
1.2 Nature of the membership
The membership is a personal, non-transferable right of access to the community and its content for the duration of your paid subscription period. It is not a licence to redistribute, resell or republish any content, and it does not create any partnership, employment or agency relationship between you and us.
1.3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to purchase and use CDI Members. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
1.4 Pricing, billing and automatic annual renewal
- The membership costs 349 EUR per year.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details (see the Privacy Policy).
- The subscription is annual and renews automatically. At the end of each 12-month period, your payment method on file will be charged 349 EUR for the following year, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Prices are shown in EUR and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply depending on your location, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- We may change the price of the membership for future renewal periods. Any price change will be communicated to you in advance and will only apply to renewals after the change takes effect. You can cancel before a renewal if you do not accept a new price.
1.5 Opinions, not advice
CDI Members is a community for discussion and learning. Everything shared inside the community, in live meetings, and anywhere on this website is provided for general information and educational purposes only.
- Anything you read or hear is the personal opinion of the person expressing it, whether that is us, a guest or another member. It is not professional advice and is not a recommendation to take any particular decision or action.
- We do not provide personalised guidance, and we do not act on your behalf or manage anything for you.
- Any decision you make is entirely your own responsibility. You should always do your own research and, where appropriate, seek guidance from a suitably qualified professional before acting.
- We give no guarantee as to any outcome or result, and we accept no liability for decisions you make based on what is discussed.
1.6 Acceptable use
- Your account and access credentials are personal. You must not share, lend, resell or transfer your access, and you must not allow anyone else to use your account.
- You must not copy, record, redistribute or republish community content, live meetings or member discussions outside the community without our written permission.
- You agree to behave respectfully towards other members and staff. Harassment, abuse, spam, unlawful content, promotion of scams, and any activity that disrupts the community are prohibited.
- You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
- We may suspend or terminate access, without refund, if you materially breach these terms.
1.7 Intellectual property
All content we provide, including the website, written materials, recordings, live sessions and the CDI Members brand, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access this content for your own use during your membership. All other rights are reserved.
1.8 Availability and limitation of liability
We aim to keep the service available and useful, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss you may incur. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
1.9 Changes to the service and to these terms
We may modify, add or remove features of the service, and we may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify members. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
1.10 Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute relating to these terms or to the service is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

2. Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SHOUBA DIGITAL - FZCO collects and uses your personal data when you use cdimembers.com and the CDI Members service. We are the data controller.
2.1 Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and the account details you create or provide when you register.
- Membership and transaction data: your subscription status, renewal dates, and records of payments (amount, date, and a payment reference).
- Payment data: your card and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number. We only receive limited confirmation data from Stripe (such as whether a payment succeeded and a token or reference).
- Communications: messages you send us and content you post inside the community.
- Usage, analytics and cookies: basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, and usage statistics. We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and for analytics to understand how the service is used.
2.2 Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To provide the membership and give you access to the community and live meetings, and to manage your account (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
- To process payments and renewals through Stripe (performance of our contract).
- To communicate with you about your membership, including service and billing notices (performance of our contract and our legitimate interests).
- To operate, secure and improve the service, including analytics (our legitimate interests, and your consent where required for non-essential cookies).
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
2.3 Your rights (GDPR and equivalent laws)
If you are located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the following rights over your personal data:
- Right of access to the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to object to, or request restriction of, certain processing.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@shoubadigital.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
2.4 Sharing your data
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the business, in particular Stripe for payment processing, and providers for hosting, email and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
2.5 International transfers
We operate from the United Arab Emirates, and some of our service providers (including Stripe) may process data in other countries. This means your personal data may be transferred to and processed outside your country of residence, including outside the EU/EEA. Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in line with applicable law, including through appropriate contractual safeguards with our providers.
2.6 Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your membership is active and afterwards only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here, to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
2.7 Contact
For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@shoubadigital.com.
3. Refund & Dispute Policy
CDI Members is a digital service delivered online. This policy explains when refunds apply and how to raise a problem with us.
3.1 30-day money-back guarantee
If the membership is not for you, you can ask us for a full refund within 30 days of your payment. You do not have to give a reason, and it does not matter whether you have already used the service.
Email contact@shoubadigital.com from the address linked to your account. We refund the full amount you paid to your original payment method and end your membership. This guarantee applies to each payment, including automatic renewals, and is offered voluntarily, in addition to any rights you have by law.
3.2 14-day withdrawal right (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason.
However, because this is a digital service supplied immediately, this right does not apply once you have started using the service where you have: (a) expressly requested immediate access to the service before the 14-day period ends, and (b) acknowledged that by doing so you lose your right of withdrawal. When you sign up and access the community, you provide this request and acknowledgement. If you have not yet accessed or started using the service, you may still request a full refund within the 14-day period.
3.3 How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at contact@shoubadigital.com from the email address linked to your account, stating your name and the reason for your request. We aim to review and respond to refund requests within a reasonable time, and where a refund is due, it will be issued to your original payment method through Stripe. The time for the refund to reach you depends on Stripe and your bank.
3.4 No partial refunds after the guarantee period
Once the 30-day guarantee period described in 3.1 has passed, and except where a refund is required by applicable law, we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for a membership period that has already started and been used. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not, by itself, refund the current period (see the Cancellation Policy).
3.5 Disputes and chargebacks
If you have any problem with a payment or with the service, please contact us first at contact@shoubadigital.com before opening a dispute or chargeback with Stripe or your bank. In most cases we can resolve the issue directly and more quickly. Opening a chargeback without contacting us can delay resolution and may lead to suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated. We keep records of access and communications and may share them with Stripe or your bank to respond to a dispute.
Refund and dispute contact: contact@shoubadigital.com
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 How to cancel
You can cancel your membership at any time, with no penalty, by either:
- emailing us at contact@shoubadigital.com from the email address linked to your account, or
- using the cancellation option in your online account, where available.
4.2 Effect of cancellation
- Cancelling stops the automatic annual renewal. Your payment method will not be charged again for a new period.
- Your membership remains active until the end of the annual period you have already paid for. You keep full access until that date.
- There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
- Cancellation does not, by itself, trigger a refund. Except under the 30-day guarantee described in the Refund & Dispute Policy, or where a refund is required by applicable law, we do not provide pro-rated refunds for the remainder of a paid period (see the Refund & Dispute Policy).
